Shipping

All in stock and ready to ship items typically ship out within a few business days not counting the date of purchase. Please allow additional time during busy seasons, sales events and holidays. While occasional shipping delays and exceptions may occur, every effort is made to ship items out promptly. 

Any item listed as pre-order or custom/made to order (if/when available) will have a significantly longer turn around time so please note the estimated ship time in those listings. Occasional delays may occur due to order size, general order volume and holidays, special sales/events etc.

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS with tracking and international orders are shipped via USPS international mail with tracking and delivery confirmation where available (not available/limited for some destinations) per USPS standard practices. 

*International orders: Customs duties and VAT (value added tax) charges are the customer's responsibility. Novel Red does not include any of these charges in shipping or other product costs. These are per country charges on purchasing and importing goods. Please be aware of the guidelines of your country regarding these possible costs. Refunds will not be given for these charges. 

*Customs label declarations: It is unlawful to declare a package incorrectly as gift or lower value/$ amount etc. in order to avoid paying customs/VAT fees, taxes or duties. All orders are declared as merchandise for their actual purchase price/value, labeled as cloth items - for pads/liners and other items will be labeled accordingly if they don't fall under that category. Please use this information and your order details as a guide when calculating possible customs/VAT costs for your delivery.

International orders typically take significantly longer to be delivered once shipped as is the nature of international shipping and customs clearance. 

*Novel Red is not responsible for damage or theft etc. caused by the USPS, a third party or as a result of shipping/transit. To protect your purchase we strongly recommend upgrading shipping for your order to include insurance, especially for large orders. During checkout you will be able to select your preferred shipping from available options. Insurance cannot be added to orders that have already been processed or shipped. 

Packages shipped via standard shipping without insurance do include tracking though it may be limited or unavailable for some (usually foreign) destinations. Uninsured packages lost in transit or damaged are not the responsibility of Novel Red. Please insure your order if you would like us to be able to replace it or attempt to open an official inquiry regarding the package with the insurer or the USPS if the package is lost or damaged in transit. We are unable to open an official inquiry into packages lost or damaged in the mail that are shipped via standard shipping uninsured per the USPS guidelines. For additional information on this please contact USPS directly.  

Once an order is marked as delivered on the tracking, the order is considered complete. Novel Red does not guarantee delivery dates or transit time. Occasional delays may occur in order processing and completion though we make every attempt to ship every order out promptly. We ask that you please remember we are a small, family run business and are always working to provide you with the best product and customer service we can.

*Please ensure the shipping address provided is accurate. Novel Red is not responsible for undeliverable orders or orders returned or marked as abandoned due to incorrect address information or orders not picked up by the addressee for any reason. If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, we will re-ship your order to you at your cost including any return shipping due if requested. If shipping rates have increased since your original shipment date you will be responsible for the additional charge for re-shipment of your package. If your order was initially shipped free, reshipment will still be at standard shipping rates based on our current charges. We reserve the right to treat returned or unclaimed packages as abandoned. If you would like to arrange reshipment of a returned package please contact us at customerservice@novelred.com promptly after your package has been returned. Abandoned orders are non-refundable and no replacement items will be issued. 

Each order is packaged and shipped separately so please be sure to include all items you wish to purchase into a single order. Separate orders cannot be held or combined.

Transit time varies by location. Delivery dates and transit time cannot be gauranteed. 

During high volume times and sales throughout the year (especially end of year sales and holidays, orders may take additional time to ship out.
